Her creations include; platters, bowls, mirrors, picture frames, jewelry, commissions and one of a kind sculptures. She exhibits and sells her work at various shows and galleries throughout the greater Washington DC area.

     Janet received a BA degree in Fine Arts from Indiana University in 1976, and subsequently worked as a jewelry designer and metal smith in NYC for several years.

After relocating to the DC Area in the early 80's she received her Masters degree from George Washington University in Information Systems. She spent the next decade building a career in the telecommunications industry, which included launching the nations first electronic mail system. 

     After raising a family, Janet returned to her passion for the arts, and creative expression via kiln formed glass. She has studied under several local and nationally recognized glass artists, and continues to expand her creative horizons.
